Shivaji – The Boss

Fuel to drive to Tamil Nadu : Rs 1400
Movie tickets : Rs 40
Watching ‘Shivaji – the Boss’ in a B-grade theater in coimbatore : Priceless

What sucked was the fact that most people in the theater were family types and me and my friend prashanth were the only ones whistling and clapping for every one of Rajini’s killer dialogs. The movie itself was very racist and has been done with a poor taste. But then again its a Rajini movie and the dialogs totally rocked.

dude, you should’ve watched it here in bengalooru itself. I caught it in urvashi and the crowd was pretty good in terms of whistling and clapping. a friend watched it 2-3 times in a theater in KR puram and I can go on and on about the atmosphere he experienced.

Since you are fresh from the experience, let me assault you with a Shivaji joke:

Inspector to suspect: “Dai! Yenda Shivaji padattha thiruttu VCD-le paarthe?!”

Suspect replies: “Panninga dhaanda gumbala poi Shivaji padattha theatre-le paarkkum! Naan singam-da! Single-a veetla VCD-le dhaanda paarpen!”

    Sivaji – The Boss

If you notice Vivek (the comedian) has more killer dialogues than Rajni himself. Some dialogues:

    1. Chittor thandina Katpaadi, Sivaji ye sindina dead body
    2. Chinna pasagon pakkrudu Pogo, sivaji kitte vendam go go
    3. Six appron seven, Sivaji appron yavan!

    fond stinky memories

This post evoked some a vairy romba nice pleasant memory: may years ago, my second cousin and I went to to LoKal Piccher…it was some arbit Tamil movie but man what an experience!

The ‘theatre’ was a large shed, with canvas siding if I recall correctly. The place reeekd of batsh*t, the crowd was super-sooper enthu and super dooper smelly – it was a hot summer afternoon in Cuddalore ๐Ÿ™‚

The moment I’ll rememebr forever if the second The Hero appeared on screen for the first time. Wooooohoooooooooooo WOOT whistle! whistle! Shriek.whistle , dancing in the aisles, balloons bursting everywhere, man what a thrill!

Even today, the whiff of batsh*t (as in a Hampi temple basement ewwww) takes me back in a nanosecond to that experience!

My advise do not watch tamil movies. Why do you think that Rajni movies will never make an Oscar. Because of his stupid stunts.

Pdf I don’t know if it’s the actual document you want, or one that merely references it. In any case, I keep getting a Gateway Timeout when trying to download from httpeprints.

    Rajini is the Boss

Rajini is the Boss and crowd puller even if he acts with name MGR let alone sivaji.
