Lily in my garden
These lovely lily’s were in bloom in my garden this week. So got out my macro lens and did a small photo shoot of this flower. This photograph is my favorite of the lot.
I’ve made a 1400×1050 wallpaper version since I get so many mails for them.
It’s bful.. Macro is interesting stuff to do 🙂
BTW which macro lens u shoot with?
I use the Sigma 105mm macro lens

I am following your blog form a long time, and seeing some eye catching pics. Surprisingly, this pic is not one of your best. And more surprisingly, I am not seeing people putting critiques down here.
For me macro shot esp floral, either should come to you or attract you (creating some mystique-ness). This shot DoF scale is not that attracting to me. Its not touching any tip, going thru in between , although not a bad thing.. but (to me).. its too shallow.
Did you use the flash. I am seeing three spots bokeah. Most of modern lenses are bad in controlling bokeah.
But still great shot and some of your shots are woth putting lot of time (and adding your entry to RSS feeder).

I think it’s wheat-free, made from rice-flour or something, but I just like the texture. They also have a good maple syrup, too.
