Kerala – God’s own country indeed

The trip was *Amazing*. 3 days ,3 people and 1000 kilometers in a great car.

Experienced the best of monsoon, best of kerala and came across come really nice kerala people. Seriously monsoon is the best time to visit kerala. The places are lovely, greenery everywhere and prices in all the amazing resorts are dead cheap. I plan to visit kerala at the break of monsoon next year and follow it up inland.

Pictures from the trip are up here. and the trip itenary.

I agree with the others – these photos are pretty amazing and you are getting better by the day, so maybe putting a small

    Kalyan Varma Alluri
    http://www.kalyanvarma.net

at the bottom right of each photo would both give you credit, and would give people who stumble across a copy of one of your photos a pointer on where they could find more.

Maybe use an exif-editor to add info to the jpg as well.

If nothing else, your friends would be proud to have that byline there.

That, plus a thoughtful placement of the “Donate” button somewhere on the page, could have interesting side-effects.

This is not a lungi. It is called Mundu. But the guy here is wearing a lungi. Lungi is rather a night dress. Mundu is a rather casual wear. Mundu is like suits for americans :-)))).

Lived in kerala for 25 years, and never felt so proud of being a mallu. Well, you are making me home sick.

Why don’t we post this to ?

This could be about communal harmony or the contrast between the rich and poor, I can’t decide which.

Those pics were too good. Thanks for the wonderful collection. Made me seriously miss home…:(.

Two things for you to seriously consider though.
    1. Turn a professional photographer.
    2. The pics that you have termed unclear are too good. Post them along with your other pics in the album Kerala.

Once again, thanks for the wonderful pics.

Took this while the car was doing 100km/h and hence the slight blur.. but that guy was sure a masterpiece. The confidence, the arrogance…
