Joy
The short trip back to the grasslands was very productive and I was able to trek around a lot easier this time around. I’ve had an amazing sighting of a Jungle cat and wild dogs with pups. I’ll try to process those pics as soon as I find time. Meanwhile, I’ve uploaded the last trips photos onto my gallery.
The person in the above photograph is Kapilan who is one of the main forest guards over there. He’s standing at the edge of Kerala and Tamil Nadu starts down the vallery from where he is standing. Infact most of the hills you see in front of him is Valparai and Anamalais. The walk till this place was back breaking but was very good. I asked him to show me how happy he was to be over there.

hey kalyan, i never seem to receive a satisfactory answer to this question. do you know why the nilgiri range has that blue tinge?

Actually its not just nilgiri’s.. but almost all mountain ranges have a blue hue.
Yeah.. infact from this place I could see the Grass Hills National park.

Good to meet you too Kalyan and love the image of the man against the sky on the hill.the images of erivakulum (hope the spellings right) are breathtaking. I need to visit and stay.

Subliminal Messages
I noticed that as soon as there is a picture with _you_ in it (assuming that is you over the hill ;), there is magically a wallpaper sized version for everyone to have kallu on their desktop 😀
