Photo of the day
Monsoon brings out all the moisture loving plants and the Impatiens which are the beautiful group of flowering plants come out in full bloom in this season. There are about 76 species of Impatiens which are endemic to the Western Ghats.
Nikon D3 with Nikkor 105mm VR macro
Aah ! So pristine and as always amazing.
Have seen some of the similar ones! And many of them bloom in pink! You have captured the tone very well, Kalyan. Exactly where is the location for this particular photograph/plant?
This is from Agumbe. I am using a new Nikon D3 which is capable of capturing these colors which most DSLRs cannot.
ok, cheers,,
Hi Kalyan,
I am very interested in photography, do you teach?
Ha! Beautiful and so pure..
Amazing.
Are those rain drops?! seems like somebody spilled a pitcher of water – it must be pouring!
Its rain falling from the rocks.
I could almost believe that this is a painting!
Superb pic, Kalyan!! The water drops look awesome! Waiting to see more with your D3.
Congrats on your new d3.quite a monsoon mood setter.By the way i have recently come across a site which displays all your recent shots some you haven’t put for public display, would like to know if you have contributed or was that copyright infringement.Due to reasons I am not displaying the link here, left an off-line mssg on your Y messenger ,but from the comments looks like you have got a lot of Russians appreciating your work. Can anyone read russian?
Great velvia like colors kalyan. Nice monsoon feel. I doubt if d300 or d200 will be able to match up to this color rendition.
Kalyan, this picture is really breath taking.
Really liked the still water and lush green leaves with a lonely flower.
Amazing photo… Kalyan.
Great composition…
