Sleep disorder

This is the second time this week I’m up till 4am and still not able to sleep. I had this issue a while back and looks like its acting up on me again.

    i have a pup that wakes me up at 3 am to play. and again at 5. i stumble out with her at 6.
    nothing works to put me to sleep now. i’m just awake. perpetually!

    I’d take stock into your entire sleep habits, life stressors, caffeine intake, etc. I’d be surprised if you weren’t getting that much sleep/sleeping late overall which is your baseline. Set a bedtime and go to bed regardless if you’re sleepy or not and see how you do for a while. Eventually you should find that over time you’re body will readjust. First adjust habits, then you can think about helping with medications, which needs to be evaluated by a physician.

    Sleep disorder? Unlikely.

    Thanks kiran. My issue is that this comes up for 2-3 days every few months and no matter which I do, it does not go away. I can just stay in the bed for 4 -5 hours without a wink of sleep

    same here

    have the same trouble once a while, and if i am lying down, my brain would be full of intricate thoughts, but tiring. otherwise i end up on the pc trying to do something, until i get exhausted. i think it is normal at a young stage, especially with highly mentally active people. recently i got married, and naturally, lifestyle also changed, and though i lie down thinking sometimes, it doesnt stray too much into sleeplessness.

    India is Beautiful

    Hey so far from my onsite visit to Denmark. Is my first trip abroad and being a nature friendly, wildlife loving person I asked people around if there is a chance of camping and wildlife spotting…they took me to a forest, over night by train, to Sweden, with lots of “well planted” trees, and cafes, ice cream parlors, around every corner. Beautifully built cottages with jacuzzi & sauna bath, what more can u ask for in a forest.. and the best part is they spotted a few snails and said these can get very dangerous and eat up a lot of their crops, they are called killer snails, and thats their “wild” life. I happened to spot a few moose deers. I was rolling on the floor laughing. I traveled by train to Berlin 7 hrs and all i got to see was just flat, flat, land…end to end. But the one thing that anyone will love to see is how they have maintained the little bit of natural forest areas that they have. We are blessed with such a diverse landscape and unimaginable variety of flora & fauna which we just take for granted. Makes me feel very sad the way we are depleting our wealth.

But at us it is not possible. At us very bad ecology and to animals treat badly. Many the animal perish. What to me to do? I feel what to be the naturalist this my calling. To go to America possibilities are not present. In Russia there is nothing. But I would like to try to be engaged in it. It seems to me that it is my way… What can you advise to me?
