iTunes for Windows

Apple released its Online music service software for windows today. Dont wait .. go grab your copy.

Its simply kicks ass. The programs comes with a list of amazing features. From standalone media player to radio stations to everything else that you can think about. It arranges all the songs really well with nice looking interface ( you know the mac interface). It has a huge list of radio stations to listen to. The only issue is that it does not let me pay and download songs from India. Oh well, iTunes has become my new media player come radio station.

So bye bye Yahoo Launch and bye bye winamp. Now if only they come out with a linux version

Apparently iTMS works only in the US (not even canada). Do they really enforce this or can you download a $0.99 song from india with a credit card?

I like the way iTunes makes ripping cds painless. I might even buy cds to rip!And an iPod looks more and more appealing…

    Canada + iTunes?

We already have some shite in here, and iTunes is expected to show up “anytime now” …

You need a US credit/check card (or a card with a US billing address). I’ve sat here in India and downloaded from iTMS using a US check card.

The reason for this requirement is that Apple has a license to sell songs only in the US.
