Office Shift
Yes, its that time of the year again, when my office does not have space for more people. So once again we are moving to a new, BIGGER place. When we moved to the existing office last year, we were 30 people. Now I think we are close to 130 people and still growing. Apparently the new office can hold upto 400 people.
We have a gala inauguration later this week and that means no work ( at least hope nothing important comes up ). Few of the senior execs ( Including David Filo – Yahoo Co-founder )from the US office have come down and its meetings after meetings.
and yes, I am making this update from home. Thats right, its 9:30pm and I am at *home*. ( my mom though I lost my job and hence came off home)
400 people as in the way we are sitting now? Fighting for chairs and space? 😀
The 4th floor is filled … that’s why they “kicked” our team to 3rd floor … :((
So we are already approaching the limit … even before moving in!
Thats right, its 9:30pm and I am at *home*.
LOL! That *is* an achievement.. Of course, your job could well be in jeopardy, considering you reach office at 1600, and leave at 2030. 😉

Moms are so cute :))
Moms are so cute
Not mine 😀
But it was great to have decent home dinner and watch the monday night TV ( which I managed to do today after more then a year ). I actually watched ‘dharma and greg’ today 🙂
few of the perks of not having a reporting manager 😉
Can I come to the party? I’m technically a prospective contractor to Yahoo.
Is’nt that about to change? 😉
Well I have a HUGE office on Bannerghatta Road with 1,000+ staff, and my team still going to move out because of space problems. It’s not going to end; not anytime soon, what with jobs in the US being moved to India.
And I’m still in office (it’s 1a), and I forgot to have dinner (really, I forgot, no kidding). It often happens to me. Sometimes I forget to sleep.
That is one helluva lovely user pic.
GRUB
Dude,
You mentioned gala party kinda words, don’t miss out on the grub. *wink*
