“Happy Friendship Day”… now enuff

Well it seems today is World Friendship day, and I’ve been bombarded with sms messages and ecards since morning. This really annoys me.

1. If you are a friend and and care about me, then do call and speak. I’d appreciate that. Don’t just forward the same sms with funky picture on it to everyone. I feel you are just showing off your sms ascii art skills.

2. If you have to send via email, then just send a 2 liner mail (Its more appreciated then those damn Ecards) . And *Don’t* sent an Ecard to a mailing list. If you care, send it to individual people. Sending it to say a class mailing list saying “Hi class, happy friendship day” is shit.

3. Most of all, when will people realize all the stuff like mother’s/father’s/sisters/grandmothers/grandfathers/aunts/uncles/ajji’s day are all shit made up by companies just to make money or just have something to write about. Same goes with Friendship day. If you are my friend, then just be my friend. You don’t have to send me an sms once a year to show that.

Now I’m off to a party 🙂

Being a considerate friend I FTPed (after SSH to my own account) 1GB of excellent p0rN to your home directory at symonds.net

Do you know why your site keeps grumbling about limit on some damn thing being exceeded?

    Enjoy 😉
