Quick message to point out an error in the first link. This isn’t the best way to name files for Google placement-

    supply_chain_management.htm

Google parses – supply_chain_management which is no use to anyone. Hyphened on the otherhand-

    supply-chain-management.htm parses to

    supply chain management

I’m slowly building a free SEO Help mini site based on the latest SEO information. I don’t work in search engine optimization, but I keep upto date, do my own research.

I’ve used what I know to put my business site in the top 5 for loads of phrases including competitive ones (my site receives around 5000 unique visitors a day from google etc… form over 1000 different search combinations). The business is in it’s second year and we estimate at least 1/3 of a million pounds (£s) turnover this year almost all of which is due to my SEO efforts.

    Dmoz

Dmoz or Yahoo, definitely get you started. Or with expired domains that already have pagerank.
