early morning blah

Finally visited the doc. and no I do *not* have SARS. Apparently its just an extension of the cold which I had last week, and the doc says this could last for another week.

Had a very long chat with my co-workers today.. about how things were changing around here. When I joined this company about a year and a half ago, I think I was the 8th employee, and now there are close to 100 of them. One year ago, we were a small start up, and now a full blown company ( I am talking about the bangalore office). Lots of things change when an org grows like that. the politics, the hierarchy, etc etc. Added to that, the kind of work you do everyday changes too. The question pops into everyones mind , “What did I learn today?”, and as it turns out, the answer becomes “None” after a year in a company. I think I am atleast a bit fortunate enough to work and hack on nice things then few others whom I work with.

Anyway.. pains of growth.

khorgath and me are planning to do something about it. We know we can’t change anything, but I think things can be better. I hate it when I walk into office and I see a face and I cant quite remember his name or what he works on.

its 5am, time to go home now.
