| Finally uploaded my Thattekad photographs over the weekend. Not too many photographs, but the Frogmouth was the highlight of the whole trip. Anyway thats about all the photographs I have for now. Don’t know when my next wildlife trip will happen, considering I have so much work piled up.
Friends – Ashy Wood Swallows

While waiting for the guide to turn up, we were at a bridge and noticed an Ashy wood swallow on a wire. Another one came to join the first bird and after a while a third one joined them. All three sat together and were preening each other for a good half hour. When a truck passed by, they decided take a break and have a look at the noise maker.

You know, for years and years now I have always thought of this exact composition. My lenses are so crappy that this shot turns up with bits of the background being too much in focus. And with my lens I never can zoom close enough. Your photography inspires me to go digital.

I still don’t know why you have not got the D70 yet. Its damn cheap these days and I know you will miss your velvia rolls, but its time to move on dude.
Looking forward to some photos from you. I have seen some amazing travel photographs coming out of you.
Tough to tell as the males and females look the same. But out of these three, two of them were sitting for a while together.. so I presume they were a pair.
I am going to use my my last remaining rolls of Velvia in the next two weeks and I plan to buy a D200 next month.

Sorry, I meant eyes right in the previous post. The army guys would be looking away from the President, if they did a eyes left! and that is a gravy mistake !
