Rock Climbing

Did my second day of rocking climbing at turahalli this morning. Managed to climb few of them and did not injure myself this time. The pain in my toes and fingers feels good. Plan to go with my camera next time to shoot some pictures. It’s nice to see people hanging on to these cracks which are less then 1cm in width.

    It’s a bird!
    It’s a plane!

Nope, it’s just Kallu who forgot that rockclimbing and taking photos are not necessarily two things you want to do at the same time. 🙂

heh, its actually a great place to shoot birds, but I will leave my heavy gear behind and go with just the wide-angle 😀

and yeah, I’ll make sure I keep the camera quite away from the rocks.

I’ve got assorted blurry pictures of bison and deer hindquarters.

I was telling Kishore how I’d like to have a nice 2.8 VR lens like Kalyan has, when the forest guide next to us asks if I’m referring to the Kalyan. He said he knew you and that you were a good photographer, and most of all, you had an amazing voice.

I told him I knew you and this was your lens I was using. At that point, the next logical course of action was to put the lens on a pedestal and prostrate before it, but we dispensed with that part. He raved about your voice some more.

Turns out he met you at BR Hills when you got that leopard pic. He was with you only three days, but you left a strong impression.

As you can see his priorities are not himself but his cameras 🙁
