Bye bye Yahoo!

This week will be my last week at Yahoo! Bangalore and I finish exactly 3 years at Yahoo this coming monday.

Everyday here has been a learning experience. Met some of the brightest minds ever, learnt many valuable lessons in life and Yahoo has pretty much been my second home.

I’ve been fortunate to have made some really amazing friends, met many incredible coworkers and I get to take with me some great memories which I can cherish rest of my life. It has been one heck of a ride. I know there will be no other place like this and it will remain very very special. The decision has been one of the toughest one I’ve ever taken.

I’m *not* jumping to another company (atleast not yet). Am planning to take a break from work and figure out what I want to do in life from here.

    Testosterone

Moral of the story: kallu’s LJ is frequented by mostly oestrogen-starved males.

Males = oestrogen-starved. If you’re male & not oestrogen starved, you’re ummm not exactly *male* anymore ๐Ÿ™‚

As for our wishlist., I think you can be a promoter of Photography in Bangalore, perhaps even starta a club & I can assure atleast a 20 people who know your *skills* & are interested to seek more advise n guidance from you.

    Think about it…

Leaving people you worked with for years is hard. I am experiencing it right now. A lot will be missed and regretted. But, that is the step you want and has to be taken!

    Your break!

Lucky, lucky! I remember my last break from work (6 months ๐Ÿ™‚ really well. Though I did work from home for the much needed moolah, it was definitely a time I enjoyed immensely. And it got over before I even realised it ๐Ÿ™‚ So enjoy yourself, have fun with the camera and I am sure you are chalking out your travel plans already.
