one long day…

There is nothing to show in bangalore in one day. Metup with Rasmus, Jeremy and accidently Miguel de Icaza post lunch today. Miguel is a very jumpy guy, almost like a …. well…hmm.. a monkey. No wonder they have the monkey as the logo for Ximian and ofcourse I presume he is the reason why Oberoi hotel has this sign in every room. Anyway he was going insane coz his hair was too long and went off for a hair cut.

Took rasmus and jeremy to Vidhan soudha, Bangalore palace , IISc , up and down MG road and Brigade road. I really could not think of any other decent places. All the temples were closed in the afternoon and any other place was too far from the city. Eventually we had a heavy dinner at tandoor and ofcouse Jeremy handed me my Coolpix 5700 🙂 ( he forgot to give me the memory card, so no pics yet )

Now its time to hit the sack. I’m actually sleeping before midnight today ( havent done this in almost a year )

    Zeremy? Jeremy?

As for the “beware of monkeys” warning, I’ll tell you there are a hell of a lot of monkeys on MG Road. It probably sounds funny, but it’s a fact. Monkeys usually entered my flat on MG Road and made a mess of the place when no one was around. They broke the TV remote (took off the buttons), opened the sugar jar in the kitchen and spilled out the sugar, and emptied the water bottles in the drawing room, wetting the sofas, etc. They never ventured into my bedroom though 😉 out of respect perhaps :-))

I’ll be surprised if you’re actually sleeping by then. Believe me, I’ve been up since last evening 4:30 PM 🙂 I promised myself to go to bed by 8 this evening, but it’s nearly midnight now. Somebody shoot me for this, before I die a natural death.
