Look ma, I need money to buy Linux

SCO has gone a bit too far this time. FUD, FUD and more FUD

Bad enough they go after IBM and other linux vendors , now its the Linux users. They want licensing fees from every linux user and if you are a company you are forced to buy SCO UnixWare licenses , which allows to use unlimited linux within your company.

Quoting the CEO from eweek :
“With more than 2.4 million Linux servers running our software, and thousands more running Linux every day, we expect SCO to be compensated for the benefits realized by tens of thousands of customers. Though we possess broad legal rights, we plan to use these carefully and judiciously,” – Darl McBride, CEO SCO.

Where is RMS when you need him 😉

Derek has a good solution to this problem.
