F1 Canada

Today’s race rocked. Loads of incidents thought the race. Kimi is really a world class driver. Coz of his goof up yesterday, he started last, came upto 5th position, then his type blew, got back at the end and managed to finish at 6th place towards the end. ravi, did you manage to catch it ?

And when was the last time we saw all the 1st 4 cars together at the checkered flag 🙂

2100 hrs and the electricity goes on the blink. It came back just in time for me to see the post-race commentary 🙁

Wonder when they are going to show a re-telecast?

Electricity gave up on us at 9:30, but luckily was back just in time for the race start.

Was a race worth a mention. I haven’t seen a finish like that in a long time. I certainly would have been a little more glad If JPM hadn’t spun off and ruined his chances of winning the race.

Now all my hopes are pinned on a re-retelecast 😉

AND in the reverse order of speed! Alonso faster than JPM faster than Ralf faster than Michael! Fantastic! (Almost as good as Brazil 2003 and Belgium 1998…)

Did you see Alonso? With 10 laps to go, he ducked into the pits in front of Michael, and within four laps, he had caught up again!

    Listen to me Ron!

    Dear Mr. Ron Dennis,
As you must have realized after the Canadian GP, the McLaren MP4/17-D has done its homework this half of the season. If it weren’t for Kimi’s class, you would be staring at a no-points finish in Canada, and a lead of more than 5 points for the long-jawed Schumi. Hence, it’s my sincere request (read order) that you get the dolphin-like babe called MP4/18A up and running for the European Grand Prix, and it better be reliable and fast! Otherwise the F2003-GA as well as the FW-26 is gonna kick your butt, and very hard at that!

    best regards,
a McLaren fan who is sick of seeing Kimi lose his lead.

I missed seeing the race, but was getting SMS updates from friends back home. First there’s god, then there’s Kimi Raikkonen.

Nope, I had fun hiking in the Adirondacks, NY. I’ll catch it maybe next year. The reasons I didn’t this year, are:

    – lousy weather forecast
    – lack of decent company
    – lack of proper planning => expensive tix
