Do you know where you're going next with your photography - or where it's taking you? This intensive weekend workshop will help photographers begin to understand their own distinct way of seeing the world. It will also help photographers figure out their next step photographically - from deepening their own unique vision to the process of discovering and making a long-term project that they're passionate about. A workshop for serious amateurs and professionals alike, it will be taught by professional photographer Kalyan Varma.

Through digital innovation, taking photographs has never been more widely accessible. However, a chasm separates everyday, snapshot photographs with those that resonate with a subtle emotional depth approaching the condition of art. Truly great photographs combine sensitive composition with a fundamental understanding of light, shape and form. This course aims to get you mastering beyond the basics of the cameras and transcending the technical preoccupations to concentrate on creating images with depth and longevity

Features of the Workshop :
  • Learn advanced topics like understanding light, post-processing and advanced composition
  • The course takes you beyond the relm of amutear photography
  • Learn photography from a professional BBC Earth Explorer & National Geographic contributor

My goal is to take you from what ever point you are and move you up a couple of levels. Will I be able to make you a great photographer after a weekend? Hell no. Anyone promising that is simply not telling you the truth - or worse. I can show you how to work the tools to find the voice YOU want, and how to work with it. And how that all plays into your photography

And I want to motivate you to make better pictures. I want to inspire you to shoot with both knowledge and heart. And I want you to be successful in your photographic adventure.

I believe that the best way to teach someone is to Tell Them, Show Them, and Have Them Do It. That is my approach. Most of all, these workshops will inspire you and change the way you look at photography forever.
