Pretending Dead

Kudremukh, Karnataka, 9 Jun 2006 We found this bi-colored frog at a stream at Kudremukh. We put him on a rock and photographed him for a while. He tired to jump once, but I put him back on the stone. After that he shifted to Plan B and decided to act dead. and after 5 min he was back up again and tried to jump off. However this time I let him go as I was impressed by his brillant acting.

   Ha ha…his paws/hands are so dramatically postioned. Clutching his chest and all….He deserves an oscar…maybe he knew you are gonna ’shoot’ him
