Flower peckers feed on a parasitic plant called Loranthus. The plant uses this bird to disperse it's seeds and this is how it does it : The fruits are very sticky and when the bird eats it and poops it out, the seed of the fruit sticks to its backside. To get rid of it, the bird has to rub its bum on a branch, where the dispersed seed will go on to germinate and grow into a new plant.
