Been to KREC surathkal for the weekend to judge some software contest. Cant say it was fun , but got the much needed break from work. The college sucks… babes suck even more. I had to travel to another town to get decent dinner and breakfast. The only thing nice about the place was the beach. Will try to put up the snaps of the trip on my page soon. Came back today morning at 6 am. Am feeling dead sleepy now 🙁

had been to The Hans Mantel Quartet Jazz concert tonight. I usually dont go to concerts, but today I decided to give it a try. It was simply mind blowing. They played some real good classic Jazz numbers to some good old blues. Since I am new to Jazz, I cant comment any more on that, but the drummer and the bassists were simpy too good. Atul and mrinal decided to drop in too, and the best part was people who did not know atul though he was mrinal’s dad 😉 hahahahah.. give him break people…the man just turned 40…
came across this nice piece at atul’s page. I totally agree with him. I mean how many of you people still go out and buy magazines like PC Quest and Digit. I used to buy them every month till 1 year ago. Infact I used to like them so much, I would wait for the whole month for them to come out. But now the quality of the content and focus of these Magazines have completely changed. PC Quest used to have these amazing howto’s and hacks. I still have preserved each and every linux specials of PCQ. These days…
