Last 5 days… the long diwali weekend was one of my best diwali till date and also few of the most memorable moments of my life. Finally got around to install Red Hat 8 on my home machine over the weekend. All I can say is it Rulez. The new UI is simple amazing, ( ofcourse I got bored with it soon and shifted back to WM). I find some of the old tools missing. But heck. The new UI is a cross breed between WinXP and Mac OSX. They got all the blue from from Mac. Decided to go check out the *infamous* IT.COM. To put it plain and simple, it SUCKED. Its was very small compared to previous years, the people in the booths dont know anything and there were hardly anyone talking to you there. Worse, they dont even have the booth babes. The last couple of days have been very busy. Time to get back to LJ. Been to the *famous* Leela palace today for lunch. Must say the place was pretty impressive. From the outside, it looks like shit, but the inside is really amazing. Ofcourse amazing food to add to that. My body still feels heavy with the food and the desert. Just watched the movie ‘Driven’. The movie was weird coz they mixed up F1, F3000 and Indy car. The story line was crap, but some amazing scenes from the movie. If you like F1, then you must watch it. As usual Stallone’s acting sucked, and they seem to think there are always major crashes in F1 racing. Work just keeps getting more and more hectic.
