In the last 24hrs, I’ve gotten hints/info from two sources about some serious/significant vuln/bug/patch in sendmail is in the works. The latest says, in effect, the patch is done waiting for word on the coordinated announcement. I don’t have any technical details. I get rumors about stuff all the time, these two, in my experience are different and I’m inclined to think this is not rumor, but warning.
Just back from the all-nighter LAN party at ashwin’s place. Most of the people were the LJ janta. man.. it feels good to frag everyones ass. It cant get brutal then this. In my office, we usually club all the birthdays’ of a month and have a single huge bash. Something that I’ve been pushing for the past couple of months is finally taking shape. It will take couple more months before I can tell anyone about the secret project, but I wont bother telling anyone.. coz everyone one will see it for themselves. If it does happen, it will take up most of my time and the next 6 months could be one of the most hectic periods of my life. And I still have to work on my regular job parallelly.
