Played UT for a while. Must thank ashwin for the multiplayer maps cd that he gave me. They really Rule. Boss never logged in today. So I guess no point staying back anymore. Just got the VPN to the office up. feels great to work directly off the US boxes now.

Never ever drive without your helmet. One of my office mate, met with an accident last night at 2Am while he was going home. No major injuries, but he fell on his face. All that could have been avoided if he had worn an helmet. So coz of this there are new strict rules in office. After 9 pm, none of us are allowed to go home on bike. We _have_ to use the Yahoo taxi. I guess I spoke too soon about the monday morning blues. Total shit happened today. I had to put my code on the CVS server. Now I had all the stuff in a remote box, and I all did was run gmake on the source tree. Well, the compile died. but worse, the machine shot out mails to couple of internal Yahoo mailing lists. I did not realize this, till many people started getting mails. Of course they were all cursing me for spamming them. 😉 Well on the lighter side, we inaugurated our recreating room. There is nothing like a crisp monday morning and when things are actually working. One of the only few monday’s where you can sit down and relax [ actually the reason is that there is a new sysadmin to take care of stuff 😉 ]. Had another one of those hectic weekend. Was practically out all day, visiting various places. Had been to Golconda for lunch, then was there at ITPL till evening.

Been in office all day. Finally I have been productive after many days. We upgraded our link to 128k from 32k. It really rulez. The only other thing that I did other than work was , go to kadambam for a nice tea. It really is good there, and was a good chance to catch up with the office gossip. 😉

was quite a day. Been busy whole of yesterday and today moving to the new office. So my machine was plugged off almost all the time. No mails… no work…. no updates. Anyways looks like things are in order now. Hopefully I should be able to get some work done tomorrow. I dont know if I am gonna like the cube. It was so much like a family before. Heading home early today. Got a BIG day coming up and the much awaited office shift happens tomorrow. Gotta come in ethnic wear and there is this pooja at 3:30pm.. The only good news is the Pizza for lunch that we are planning 😉
