Oct 2001 : noelladsa needed to work on linux, and she called me over , so that I could install linux on her machine. Feb 2003 : She comes over to my place and helps me install linux, which I have not been able to , since a week now.

jwz‘s WebCollage Its basically a program that generates random text and searches for that string in couple of search engines, gets links and fetches the images on those pages. With this image pool, a collage is created. ( which is updated every 1 min ). And the best part is that, every image is a link to the original site. and oh yeah… all the people who want free porn.. this is a good starting point 😉

Being home alone rocks : I can eat when I want… sleep when I want.. do whatever I want. Ofcourse there is still the issue of talking care of things.. but its all worth it. Through I’d sit and read some books over the weekend. But ended up spending all the time trying to fix my box. Dont think I’ll go to work tomorrow.. it feels so peaceful staying at home 🙂

Yesterday I decided I finally needed windows ( mostly to play games and watch all the southpark video’s ). So I pick up WinXP and started the install. People crib about most linux distro’s having non-gui install interface.. well.. WinXP does not either. For most of the install anyway..

In the last 24hrs, I’ve gotten hints/info from two sources about some serious/significant vuln/bug/patch in sendmail is in the works. The latest says, in effect, the patch is done waiting for word on the coordinated announcement. I don’t have any technical details. I get rumors about stuff all the time, these two, in my experience are different and I’m inclined to think this is not rumor, but warning.

Just back from the all-nighter LAN party at ashwin’s place. Most of the people were the LJ janta. man.. it feels good to frag everyones ass. I think I will throw another LAN party at my place next weekend. Most of the games were CTF, I think I am really bored of death matches. CTF rulez now its time to hit the sack….
