While searching around for xml stuff, I came across this in google.. If you click on the second link, it takes you to a page, where you need a username and a password to access the article. Dont have one ? Why worry, when you have google cache. Just click on the “Cache” link, and you are taken to the article without any issues Can anyone explain this ?

One tech talk by jace + 2 sleepless nights + ditching all other work = XML-RPC Interface to one of auth servers that I maintain. Now clients/people/programs can auth users, fetch user credentials, even fetch cookies using various methods on this server. ( this is the same server with apache + mod_perl + mysql , with 449 days uptime as of today ). If you ever wanna try xml-rpc in perl, remember to use Frontier::RPC2 and not RPC::XML
I’m just sick of seeing this Ad. I cant believe a tech company ( so called tech company ) would say something stupid like that. How do they expect the Internet to work without sending the IP address out. I don’t see that as a security problem at all. The Ad is so misleading, I’m surprised no one sued these people yet. When I visit their site, they show my IP flashing in red (I guess they want people to say “look ma, this site has stolen my IP address”) and they actually think my OS is windows. bah. All…

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been doing more and more of my work via Email. I spend about 60% of my time on mail, and I actually seem to be doing most of my work via it. I even ignore all the folders where the stuff from all the mailing lists are being sucked into. My Inbox is still filled with about 700 mails. They’ve been going down by about an 100 a day ( I am hoping to see a single page view of my complete inbox someday) I havent programmed continuously in weeks. Its mostly bug…

If you are not the intended recipient, please notify us immediately; you should not copy or use it for any purpose, nor disclose its contents to any other person. Why do people wanna leave disclaimer with anything and everything they write or do online ? Copyright is one thing, but this huge disclaimers are pushing it too much.
