Broken

I am just a poor boy
Though my story’s seldom told
I have squandered my resistance
For a pocket full of mumbles such are promises
All lies and jests
Still a man hears what he wants to hear
And disregards the rest

In the clearing stands a boxer
And a fighter by his trade
And he carries the reminders
Of ev’ry glove that layed him down
Or cut him till he cried out
In his anger and his shame
“I am leaving, I am leaving”
But the fighter still remains

– Simon And Garfunkel | The Boxer

Another day, another leopard bites the dust. When will we start treating them as individuals and not as numbers. These eyes reflect… the fear.. the pain…

But hope the fighters will continue to fight… but with more support and understanding from us.

There is just no way to describe the look in the leopard’s eyes – it is way beyond pain and fear – there is bewilderment, disbelief, panic… Why do we do this to such magnificent creatures??

Human know no shame in the name of their own interest.

Let’s us pray that the fighter will continue to fight and may this Christmas brings more joy for all the animals and the natures.

    Merry Christmas

Very sad. Reminds me of an article about an annual dolphin massacre destival in Denmark to prove adulthood: http://www.politicalarticles.net/blog/2009/10/11/denmarks-gruesome-festival-mass-killing-of-whales-and-dolphins-to-prove-adulthood/

Humans deserve to go extinct, for they are nothing but parasites on this planet. We keep breeding mindlessly irrespective of dwindling natural resources and other species.

The best and most impactful contribution a human can make for the planet is remaining childfree.

VHEMT.org is doing a great job.

    Peace.

kalyan sir you are the only one who I see can understand them(leopards) I cant why nobody out there to help them and stop this twist of fate and tragic circumstances between animal-man conflicts. SHOT POINT-BLANK!

You need to show the other side or the other aspect too.
Leopards frequently stoll around the villages in valparai causing damage to human life and
property (in terms of attacking small children, village curs or cattle).
So its not always that humans are to be blamed.

the eyes reflect the dichotomous world…a single frame captures the exploiter and the exploited…
