My God! This looks placental. Makes me wonder about Mother nature’s replication of design in various life forms including us! An eye opener of an image Kalyan.

    Kalyan,
I was introduced to your site by my younger brother. I started off with photography as a hobby and recently got myself a DSLR. I know how satisfying it is to get that perfect shot after a few blunders. Thanks for posting the Exif info for each photo. I’ve spent the last two hours glued to your site. Keep up the great work. Do you have a place (such as flickr etc.) where you post the full size pictures? If so, please do send me the link.

    Thanks,
    Atchuth.

Great image, better known as Andaman Padauk, the burr knots in the wood were prized for table tops for the lustrous knotted look like Marble, brings back great memories of my trip to the Andamans in 1997,

This is a beautiful shot of a lovely seed. Very soothing to look at. BTW, I have a seed of a sea-mahuwa (?) from Havelock Island, wonder if it will grow in Bangalore.

Amazing, this photo is so beautiful. I also love taking beautiful pictures during my travels. I usually shoot on my mobile phone with professional capture and photo editing applications in catchmod, I find it very convenient and easy to use. Besides those applications, I can also watch good movies with friends or exciting music that make our trip even more fun and wonderful.
