good show!
Hey kalyan!
I was there for the afternoon workshop. I really loved it. What I liked about your workshop was that you dissected what went to make a good photograph ( much like the mutton biryani analogy) and then backed it up with good examples. Way to to go!
btw, do u ve ur presentation online somewhere? I missed out on the later parts of your presentation as I had an urgent appointment elsewhere.

Workshop At British Council
Hello,
Thank you for a great session,it is certainly helpful for amateurs such as myself!
I’m being slightly audacious here and sharing a link to another photographers work – http://www.lartigue.org
He has as they say “arrested moments”
Thank you again!
Re: Workshop At British Council
Glad to hear you liked the workshop Priya.
Jacques Lartigue work is considered one of the best ever. I was quite influenced by his work in my early days of photography.. too bad I only do wildlife photography these days
Great meeting you likewise Sharath. Sorry we could not spend much time.
workshop..
Hi Kalyan,
I attended the afternoon worshop and i thought it was great! It was very nice to actually see people who made it big in this industry.Nice inspiration for aspiring people.
And the thing you mentioned about having/showing stories through photographs was a very good pointer for amateur photographers like me. Thank you for a wonderful session!
Neelima.
Re: Workshop At British Council
I’m too jittery about wildlife photography :$ , I did get to spend some time with Fateh Singh when I was in Ranthambore for a year..and I liked observation more I guess..
I try a hand at this and that – some food photography as well, that you might find amusing!:D..
I now understand what I click:)
Hey thanks for giving a peep into the world of photography with such simple analogies. I’m a feature writer for whom street photography should carry the essence of the story. I came here to understand how to shoot better photos & learnt a lot. Next time I have a doubt, I’ll go open a window:)

Hi Kalyan, it was really a wonderful session, though a beginner I got to know the unknowns about photography. I am using Sony Dsc H50, a megazoom camera and has a features of SLR, through this session I got lot’s of tips towards better, indeed best photography. Hoping to meet you in near future in some workshop….. Thank you once again…..
